JUNE - Mom & Rae head to NH

Finally, a post I can write a little more about.  So as the older ones and dad drove out to NH; mom and Rae were lucky enough to have a flight booked.  (Originally we thought I would be taking a summer course and would not be able to travel until Friday before the wedding - as it turns out, I didn't take a course though and actually could have driven...but we did get a super cheap flight so no complaints here!)  Anyways, since the above story was true; I really didn't want to spend a whole Thursday just hanging out and missing my family and all the fun in NH.  So instead of waiting to check in and head to the airport on Friday morning, I decided to pack little Rae up and myself and head to the airport on THURSDAY morning.  Thanks to 24 hour online check in options and small flight change fees, we were able to fly stand by on flights out of MSP and Chicago on Thursday and make it to NH in time for dinner. Don't get me wrong, it was a LOOONG day of travel (over 12 hrs) but when its just you and a breastfed baby, life is pretty easy.  We also ran into some relatives at the Chicago airport on our layover.  

She was meant to travel!

Our adventures included automobiles, planes and a bus! All we would have needed was a train to cover ALL of our basis!

JUNE - They made it to NH!

Well, they made it safe and sound and on a pretty decent time schedule. They arrived in the early hours of Thursday morning. 

I'm not 100% how this came about; however, Gpa Bob and Gr. Uncle Jeff decided they needed to travel down a kid's slide.  There is even a video.  If I can figure out how to get it loaded; I will add it to this post!

JUNE - Hi-ho Hi-ho it's off to NEW HAMPSHIRE we go!

So, as I mentioned in the last post - the older two kids, Broghan, his parents and his grandma all packed up in our van and headed out from WI to NH on Tuesday.  I can't personally comment on story-lines here or anything; however, I think many of the pictures of self-explanatory.  Most of these are from when they stopped for lunch and then when the got to Niagra Falls! Mom over here is a little jealous since I've never been there but now two of my kiddos and my husband have! :P

JUNE - Happy Father's Day & First Boat Ride

Father's day is always a fun one when we get such beautiful weather! The week following Father's day is going to be a crazy one with Broghan and the older two kids heading out for New Hampshire (with Gma/Gpa Reilly & Grt Gma Ruth) on Tuesday and then Mom and Rae flying out on Friday (more to come on this).  So we wanted to take advantage of the day and spend some QT together.  It also happened to be one of the first sunny/warm enough/nothing going on type of days to take our boat out.  

The morning started with a little Kite flying with dad, K & L.

We polished off the morning with a little play time in the living room. 

And some hammock swinging...

After naps it was finally time to hit the water!! Rae's first boat ride!!

She did very well.
